Group Structure

President:

• Conducts meetings
• Handles all press matters
• Oversees the club and members
• Acts as liaison between Veteran Groups and other organizations

Vice President:

• Assists the President as needed
• In charge in the absence of the President

Secretary:

• Takes minutes at monthly meeting
• Publishes monthly meeting minutes on web site
• Keeps birthday list current on web site

Treasurer:

• Collects dues
• In charge of Pass-the-Hat
• Deposits money in bank
• Makes payments for the club
• Gives financial report at monthly meeting
• Orders patches

Sergeant at Arms:

• Assists the President and Vice President as needed
• In charge in the absence of President/Vice President
• Keeps members and guests in line

Appointed Officials

Road Captains (2):

• Develops routes for runs
• Keeps the group together on runs
• Assists members who break down
• Blocks traffic lights
• Rides at the back of the group

Event Coordinator:

• Obtains information on upcoming events
• Contacts members about functions
• Obtains and maintains contact information from organizations
• Works with Treasurer for any financial arrangements

Membership Coordinator:

• Serves as Chairman for the Membership Committee
• Conducts membership drives
• Maintains master spreadsheet of members
• Works with Treasurer for any financial arrangements

Electronic Media Specialist:

• Responsible for the organization's web site
• Maintains web site with current information
• Responsible for the growth of the web site

Fundraising Coordinator:

• Presents fundraising options to the members for review and approval
• Plans and executes all the arrangements for the fundraising events
• Writes and copies fundraising information to the Events Coordinator
• Works with the Treasurer for any financial arrangements
